Every day, around 3,000 employees of RUAG and RUAG Real Estate make as significant contribution to the security of Switzerland. They ensure that the Swiss Armed Forces and other emergency and security organizations can comprehensibly carry out their tasks at all times.

You can move it

You contribute to the conceptual development and construction of IT architecture in the space sector
You design, build and operate an IT infrastructure for highly secure applications
You review technical requirements in cross-functional collaboration
You ensure the necessary development, testing and production systems, including networks
You evaluate and select systems as well as software components
You define configurations and system integrations, considering subsystems such as data center, virtualization and security
You contribute ideas and solutions to ensure and further develop stable systems
You create and maintain the system documentation

What you should bring with you

Completed degree in computer science or a related technical field
Several years of professional experience as DevOps or System Engineer, an advantage if in the space context
Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies
Experience with Windows and/or Linux systems as well as networking technologies
Architecture expertise in virtual server environments is an advantage
Experience in the space sector with TMTC and onboard computers is an advantage
Strong hands-on mentality, problem-solving skills and excellent self-management
Solution-oriented and connected thinking mindset
EU and/or CH work permit and no entries in public registers (due to security screening)
Business fluent in English (written and spoken) with German skills (advantageous)
