- Technical and personnel management of the *MALE drone team (Hermes 900 HFE / Starliner ADS 15) in accordance with business management principles and RUAG management principles to ensure the achievement of strategic, operational, and commercial goals.
- Development of drone business / project initiatives for DDPS drones (large and small drones)
- Preparation of project and cost center planning
- Ensuring the fulfillment of contractual obligations towards customers and POC for all operational MALE drone issues
- Defining the scope of work for MALE drones / material life cycle management
- Active participation in negotiations
- Active participation in the strategic development and overall strategy of the “Drones” division
*MALE = Medium Altitude Long Endurance
What you should bring with you
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in a technical field, e.g., IT, mechanical engineering, aerospace
- Several years of professional experience or Post-Doc / PhD
- Strong expertise in the field of drones, especially in development and operational application
- Strong negotiation skills and sound economic and strategic thinking (MBA an advantage)
- High level of initiative and entrepreneurial mindset
- Willingness/motivation to lead a team of six. Leadership experience an advantage.
- Good written and spoken German and English
